Dr Aiden is Dentaljuce’s AI Tutor. He is designed to enhance your CPD journey, to facilitate your understanding of dental concepts, provide insights, and answer your queries.
1. Acceptance of Terms:
By using the Dr Aiden chatbot, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this service.
2. Service Description:
Dr Aiden is an AI chatbot feature on our website that aims to assist you in your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in dentistry. He is designed to provide a conversational experience and facilitate learning by providing responses to your questions or queries. He also can ask you questions, and give you feedback, so you can test your understanding of a wide array of dentistry-related topics.
3. Access and Availability:
Dr Aiden is currently offered as an experimental feature of our site and is included in your site access subscription without any additional charges. We reserve the right to remove this feature or limit its usage at any time without prior notice.
4. Usage and Responsibilities:
The chatbot service is for informational purposes only. While Dr Aiden strives to provide accurate and timely information, there may be inadvertent technical or factual inaccuracies and typographical errors. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, text, graphics, links, or other items contained within the chatbot responses.
5. Disclaimer:
Despite the sophisticated technology behind Dr Aiden, he is not infallible and he does not replace professional advice or judgement. He does not have the ability to understand or interpret information in the same way a human dental professional can. He should not be used as the sole resource for clinical or legal decision-making. All clinical or legal decisions should be made with a thorough understanding of the current research and guidelines, patient factors, and your professional judgement.
6. Accuracy of Information:
Dr Aiden generates responses based on a combination of programmed knowledge and information he learns from a variety of online sources. While every effort is made to ensure that the information provided is accurate, the volume of incorrect or substandard information available online is substantial. Therefore, it's possible that the chatbot might provide information or advice that is incorrect or not in line with UK standards and guidelines.
7. Data Usage:
We are committed to ensuring the privacy and protection of your data. Your interactions with Dr Aiden may be used by Dentaljuce to improve the functionality and performance of the chatbot, and for researching the effectiveness of the chatbot.
When you interact with Dr Aiden, your prompts are sent to Open AI, an service based in the USA, to generate responses. However, these prompts do not contain any of your personally identifiable data. We take careful measures to anonymise your prompts to ensure they don't contain information that could be used to identify you.
8. Respectful Usage:
You are expected to interact respectfully with Dr Aiden. Any form of abuse, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour towards the AI service will not be tolerated and will result in the suspension or termination of your access to Dr Aiden. This includes, but is not limited to, profanity, hate speech, and discriminatory language.
9. Privacy of Others:
It is strictly prohibited for users to upload, share, or distribute any personally identifiable information about patients, colleagues, or any other individuals through the Dr Aiden service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of this service is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
